- It is based on the vehicle's original MSRP of $150,000 or more, not the price you negotiated or the current market value. RV registrations use a separate $300,000 threshold at $800.
- Can one LLC hold my whole collection?
- Yes. Additional vehicles can be added to an existing MontanaPlate LLC, each with its own registration and plate fees. Consolidating avoids paying for multiple entities and registered-agent services.
- What about a car I imported from Europe or Japan?
- Imported vehicles need customs and import documentation alongside the title or MSO, and carry a $150 imported-vehicle processing line on auto registrations. Files missing import paperwork are the slowest ones we handle.
- Can I get a personalized plate on an exotic?
